Vintage store What Comes Around Goes Around recently posted an article reminiscing about MKC:

“Max’s Kansas City was a restaurant and nightclub opened by Mickey Ruskin in 1965. Located at 213 Park Avenue South, it became a VIP hangout for Andy Warhol and his Factory friends as well as many famous artists, drag queens, musicians and celebrities of the 1960′s and 70′s.”
